The short version
xorvyne.com sets no advertising cookies, no social media pixels, and no cross-site tracking technologies. The only storage we use is strictly necessary for the site to work and to protect our contact form from abuse. That is why you do not see a consent banner: under the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.
What a cookie actually is
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits. Related technologies — localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixel tags — do similar jobs. They are used for everything from remembering you are logged in to following you across the internet. The difference between those two uses is the only thing that matters, and this page tells you which one applies here.

Third-party requests
Two categories of request leave your browser to a third party when you load this site:
- Google Fonts (
fonts.googleapis.com,fonts.gstatic.com) supplies the typefaces. Google receives your IP address and user-agent as part of that request but sets no cookie through this route. If you would rather avoid it entirely, a content blocker will stop it and the site will fall back to your system font. - Our web host logs the request server-side as described in our Privacy Policy. This is a server log, not a cookie.
We deliberately do not embed YouTube or Vimeo players, social media widgets, live-chat scripts, heatmap tools, or advertising tags, all of which would set third-party cookies.
Analytics
We currently run no analytics on this website. If that changes, we will use a privacy-preserving, cookieless analytics tool that does not track individuals across sites, we will list it in the table above, and we will update the effective date before deploying it. If we ever adopt a tool that requires consent, a consent banner will appear and nothing will load until you make a choice.
How to control cookies
You can delete and block cookies through your browser settings. Because this site sets no cookies at all, blocking cookies will not affect it in any way. If you also block sessionStorage, the contact form still works — it simply loses one layer of spam detection. You can always email us directly at hello@xorvyne.com.

Cookies in software we build for clients
This policy covers xorvyne.com only. Applications we build for clients are governed by that client's own cookie and privacy notices. Where we implement cookie handling on a client's behalf, we build consent mechanisms that meet GDPR and ePrivacy requirements by default — no pre-ticked boxes, and refusing must be as easy as accepting.
